If there's such a thing as a realistic space combat game, Axiomatic is it. Axiomatic a sleek little space combat title with gameplay similar to the venerable Wing Commander series of yore. The graphics are impressive - particularly explosions - and the control scheme is a snap to learn. But probably the best thing about the game is its stylish, uncluttered HUD, which gives you full view of the expanse of space, displaying targeting brackets only when necessary. And the ultra-smooth framerate gives the gameplay a slick feel. For anyone who loves space combat sims, Axiomatic is a must. |
