Description:

Airstrike II is good old top-down arcade shooter centered on heavily-armed helicopters, with great lighting effects and terrific 3D helicopter models. The game maintains a smooth framerate as a continuous stream of enemies fills the screen with incredible pyrotechnics and non-stop action; even the training missions are a thrill. You can control your copter with a combination of keyboard and mouse commands, and both feel fluid and intuitive. These airborne killing machines are equipped with a large arsenal of devastating weaponry, including a primary machine gun, missile launcher, and a special ammunitions slot, all of which are upgradeable. Lots of bonuses are up for grabs as you progress through the levels, defeating bosses and racking up points. Its a fun and challenging throwback - fans of the old arcade-style shooters should certainly give Air Strike II a try.
