Let's face it: If you're playing FlatOut 2, it ain't for the racing. You want the visceral smash-up of demolition derby, and best of all, the cruel and unusual torture of the drivers. There's something oddly satisfying about launching a driver head first through the windshield into a dart board - particularly when his foot gets stuck and he dangles there for a second before falling to a squishy death. FlatOut 2 also offers a spiffy upgrade in graphics with adjustable anisotropics and antialiasing, and new courses and events. By and large there's nothing hugely different from the original FlatOut, but it's still fast-paced, chortle-inducing fun.
