Description:
FlyFF, or Fly for Fun, is a free MMORPG that holds true to the gameplay typical of the genre: Create a character, get quests, finish quests, get loot. However, FlyFF has an unusual gimmick, in that characters can fly upon reaching level 20, letting you traverse the virtual world faster than on foot. Like all of the other MMO games offered by Gala-Net, FlyFF is completely free to download and play, and profits by selling optional special abilities and uber-weapons to players for real-world currency. Flyff also offers PvP combat, party, guild systems and the ability to create your own shop. But the quests offered are a bit scarce and mostly irrelevant to the storyline of the game, which involves saving the world of Roika from the evil clutches of "Comedian-Clown". Most are simply fetch quests where killing X number of creature Y rewards you with object Z. In the beginning, character customization options are limited to a few hair and face selections and one profession, but at higher levels the choices become quite varied. Flyff offers nearly all of the features you'd find in a subscription-based game, and it's free. That's reason enough to give the game a look.
Angry mushrooms have a knack for irritating young adventurers Hyenas have a positively glowing personality Flying is a safer, faster means of travel in Roika Travelling through FlyFF's lush landscapes is very scenic Different methods of flight are available to different character classes While flight is almost a necessity, the sparkles are purely optional As Dean Martin says: "That's amore" The dynamic day and night system is a nice touch Getting a strong party together always makes questing more fun
