PlayWhat.com launched in August 2005 with the goal of providing a comprehensive source for fast, free game downloads, with streamlined navigation that takes you to where you want to go with a minimum of clicks.  (Why some game sites make you click through a dozen pages just to get to a demo or a patch is beyond us.)
 

Over the last three years PlayWhat has grown tremendously, and so has our bandwidth. To keep our downloads fast we integrated a custom download client to maximize transfer speeds.  The PlayWhat downloader is amazing - in fact, the more users downloading a file, the faster the file is delivered.  We swear, it's true - that's how it was designed.  So tell everyone you know about us - it'll benefit both you and PlayWhat!
